Keyfile document management software has always offered the ultimate in document tracking, content management, version control, and more. Our Keyfile product lets you handle many different forms of information: paper, fax, e-mail, word processor files, scanned photographs - even voice and video - all within the same document. Furthermore, Keyfile Workspace, integrated with Tower Software's TRIM Captura product, has been certified by the Joint Interoperability Test Command (JITC) to meet the U.S. Department of Defence Standard 5015.2!
The Keyfile Workspace client allows users access to and sharing of their Keyfile objects. They can still work in a manner similar to the "Classic" Keyfile Desktop in that they have a clearly defined document management work area, organised and maintained separately from the rest of their Windows Desktop. Keyfile's Extranet Service enables secure document publishing to business partners across the Internet.
With the Workspace client, users can also share their Keyfile documents,
folders and files between their Workspace and the standard Microsoft
Windows desktop environments - fully supporting Windows Drag and Drop
operations on all Keyfile user exposed objects.

The 32-bit Workspace client can now see the InBasket object (previously only seen by the 16-bit Classic Client). This allows Workspace users to receive documents and folders from Keyfile Classic users, as well as faxes and e-mail from non-Keyfile users, through the Keyfile Fax Server and Inmail. |

The Workspace client now supports international date formats you specify in the Regional Settings area of Control Panel. |

The Workspace Briefcasing feature allows you to copy documents to and from another server. This feature creates an actual copy of the document file - that is, a separate instance of the document that has no link to the original. Briefcased documents can be opened without being connected to the KDS Server. |
